Today, hundreds or even thousands of drones are deployed in a single day of fighting. Kamikaze drones—aerial strike vehicles—present a significant danger. These range from small units weighing just a few kilograms to large platforms approaching aircraft size.

The larger drones are particularly threatening because they target rear areas with limited traditional air defence coverage. To counter this threat, Ukraine has established mobile fire groups, nicknamed "Drone Hunters." These units operate from various vehicles—primarily pickup trucks but also military vehicles—equipped with large-calibre machine guns or small-calibre anti-aircraft guns. The groups are sometimes reinforced with manportable air-defence systems operators. While most mobile fire groups consist of trained military personnel, some are formed from volunteers.

Key Features

Multipurpose Humvee M1097A2 with DShKM machine gun, plus gunner, observer with binoculars, and MANPADS operator

Vehicle model with accurate proportions and highly detailed body and cabin elements

Figures with detailed modern Ukrainian soldier uniforms and equipment

Perfect for creating modern combat diorama scenes

Model Information

Scale: 1:35

Number of Parts: 109 + 31 (140 total)

Includes detailed assembly instructions

Highly detailed sprues with high accuracy made from quality plastic

Box size: 410 x 260 x 55 mm

At a glance

Scale: 1:35

Type: Assembly Kit

Subject: Armoured Cars

Nation: Ukrainian

Era: 2022 Plus - Russo-Ukrainian War

Brand: ICM

Product code: ICMDS3531

Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
