Due to their strength and reliability, from 1908 to 1914 the model became the most popular Parisian taxi, with more than 2,000 being in service. On September 5th, 1914, some 1,300 Parisian Renault AG-1 taxis were used by the French army to transport 6,000 soldiers from Paris to the Battle of the Marne, where the French troops stopped the German offensive. These Parisian taxis earned the nickname “Taxi de la Marne”, with the French saying the taxi had saved Paris during World War I.

Model Features

ICM's first model kit of a 1914 Paris taxi in 1:35 scale

Highly detailed chassis, engine and body interior

Includes decal sheet for added detail

Markings Available

Taxi de la Marne (1914)

Model Information

Scale: 1:35

Number of Parts: 94 pieces

Length: 106 mm

Height: 61 mm

Includes detailed assembly instructions

Highly detailed sprues with high accuracy made from quality plastic

Box size: 295 x 225 x 40 mm

At a glance

Scale: 1:35

Type: Assembly Kit

Subject: Cars

Nation: French

Era: 1910s

Brand: ICM

Product code: ICM35659

Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
