The Swedish air superiority and multirole fighter was soon developed in a two-seat version to meet the demands of advanced pilot training. This variant retained essentially the same high performance as the single-seat fighter, while offering greater operational flexibility, enabling it to carry out reconnaissance and ground-attack missions. The aircraft’s innovative aerodynamic design, providing excellent manoeuvrability, combined with strong flight performance, a maximum speed of Mach 2.0, and the capability to carry a diverse and flexible offensive payload, also contributed to its commercial success outside Sweden.

Scale is 1:48

The twin seat version of the popular Italeri model JAS 39 Gripen single seat aircraft

New decal sheet with 4 versions (Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, and South Africa)

Colour instruction sheet to help with assembly

At a glance

Scale: 1:48

Subject: Aircraft

Nation: Swedish

Era: 1990s

Brand: Italeri

Product code: 2664

Special Order - ETA 2-4 Weeks. We order this in for you from the UK distributor, so please allow 2 to 4 weeks for it to reach you.
