This aircraft is the result of a joint development project carried out by British, German and Italian companies. Although during its lifetime it has been used for several purposes (ground attack, electronic combat/reconnaissance, interceptor), its main role has always been to perform low-altitude penetrating strike missions.

The Tornado can load and use a powerful and varied set of offensive weapons. Thanks to its two powerful afterburning turbofans, the Tornado can reach the max speed of Mach 2.2. The Tornado baptism of fire took place in 1991 during the Gulf War. More in detail, the air campaign of the Gulf War, in which the Italian Tornados IDS took part, began on 17th January. The goal of the aerial bombing campaign was the suppression of military targets and infrastructures.

Scale is 1:48

Size of the model is 34.8cm

Part of a new collaboration with War Thunder

War Thunder is an online video game with over 70 million registered players across all platforms, with 250,000 active players simultaneously

The new kits have the “Special Bonus code” inside to use on the on line game on all platforms (Windows PC, Playstation and XBox)

Great opportunity to involve “Gamers” to the fantastic World of Scale Modelling

At a glance

Scale: 1:48

Subject: Aircraft

Nation: NATO

Era: 1990-1991 - Persian Gulf War

Brand: Italeri

Product code: W35107

Special Order - ETA 2-4 Weeks. We order this in for you from the UK distributor, so please allow 2 to 4 weeks for it to reach you.
