Compared to the fighter versions, it was easily identifiable by the configuration of the forward fuselage section, where modern (for the time) photographic and terrain-scanning systems were installed. Used extensively during the Vietnam War, the aircraft was continuously upgraded in its avionics and photographic and data-gathering systems, remaining operational in the United States Air Force and other allied countries until the late 1990s. Its flight performance was notable, with a maximum speed exceeding Mach 2.

Scale is 1:72

Size of the model is 26.7cm

New decals version for interesting liveries and mimetic schemes for United States, Germany, Spain, Iran and Israel

Figures not included

Box size is 34.5 x 24.2 x 4.8cm

Carton quantity is 16 and EAN is 8001283014779

At a glance

Scale: 1:72

Type: Assembly Kit

Subject: Aircraft

Nation: American

Era: 1960s

Brand: Italeri

Product code: 1477

Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
