tamiya-1-35-king-tiger-production-turret-35164
Tamiya 1:35 King Tiger Production Turret - 35164
The King Tiger made its debut in 1944, toward the end of World War II, and proved a fearsome foe to the Allies, with 150mm and 80mm armour on the hull front and sides respectively, and a powerful 700hp Maybach HL230-P30 engine. The first fifty had a Porsche-designed turret, but thereafter mass-produced King Tigers had an updated turret designed by Henschel. The L/71 88mm gun was upgraded from the Tiger I, and could defeat 170mm of armour from a kilometre away. Some 430 of these King Tigers were produced until the end of the run in March 1945, proving a constant threat to the end.

1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit

Model dimensions: 294mm length

Required to complete: cement, paint, and finishing supplies

Includes a tank commander miniature figure

Authentic 88mm gun with loading breech

Detailed flexible tracks

At a glance

Scale: 1:35

Type: Assembly Kit

Subject: Tanks

Nation: German

Era: 1939-1945 - World War II

Brand: Tamiya

Product code: 35164

Supplied unassembled and unpainted.
