The Lore
Vulkan's sons from the volcanic death-world of Nocturne, where every battle-brother lives among the people he protects and forges his own wargear at his own anvil. Onyx-skinned and ember-eyed, they are master artisans — and the most humane defenders humanity has.
Their creed is simple: into the fires of battle, unto the anvil of war — and no civilian left behind.

A tough, mid-range brawling army built around fire and thunder: flamers, meltas and resilient infantry that wade forward, weather the storm and burn what's left. Salamander tradition favours durability and short-ranged overkill.
They're forgiving to play — advance steadily, fight for the middle of the table, and let superior toughness win the grind. Green armour with flame effects is a painter's playground, too.
