The Lore
Sons of Sanguinius, the winged Primarch who died at Horus's hand defending the Emperor — and left his Chapter two curses. The Red Thirst, a hunger for blood held at bay by ritual and iron discipline; and the Black Rage, which drags the afflicted into the Death Company to relive their Primarch's death and seek a glorious end.
From irradiated Baal they wage war as angels: gothic, beautiful and one bad day from monstrous. No Chapter carries more tragedy — or wears it with more style.
On the Tabletop
On the table the Blood Angels are the Astartes at their most aggressive: jump-pack Assault Intercessors, Sanguinary Guard, the Death Company and heroes like Dante closing the gap fast and butchering whatever they land on. The Liberator Assault Group detachment pays you for advancing and charging.
