The Lore
The Long Watch: veterans seconded from every Chapter, one pauldron keeping their old heraldry while the rest of the armour is painted black. Sworn to the Ordo Xenos, they garrison lonely Watch Fortresses and deploy in kill teams against the galaxy's alien horrors.
Each brother is an embassy from his Chapter, a specialist in exotic ammunition, and the finest xenos-hunter humanity has ever fielded.
On the Tabletop
An elite precision toolkit. Mixed kill teams blend roles into single, hyper-flexible squads, and special-issue ammunition lets one unit shred hordes, elites and monsters by turn. Few armies reward target priority so richly.
You'll never have many bodies, so concentrate your force, spend veterans carefully, and lean on Imperial allies for numbers and big guns.
