The Lore
Leman Russ's Chapter of Fenrisian hunters: saga-tellers, mead-hall brawlers and utterly loyal savages who looked at the Codex Astartes, politely declined, and kept their pack tactics instead. Every battle-brother carries the Canis Helix in his blood — and some carry rather too much of it.
They fight exactly as their myths demand: heroically, loudly, and preferably at claw's length.
On the Tabletop
An aggressive melee army that bullies the mid-board. Push forward, threaten charges everywhere, and let 11th Edition's Heroic Intervention rules turn any enemy who steps too close into a saga verse — the counter-charge is the Wolves' deadliest weapon.
Watch for fast shooting armies that try to kite you: use terrain, stage your packs so a failed charge doesn't strand anyone, and keep a troop unit or two on objectives while the hunters hunt.
