About Stormcast Eternals — Lore & How They Play
The Lore

On the Tabletop
Tough, elite and forgiving to learn — the classic first Age of Sigmar army.
The Stormcast Eternals are Sigmar's storm-forged heroes: mortal champions reforged into golden-armoured demigods and hurled into battle on bolts of lightning. They're the face of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, a tough, forgiving army and the natural first choice for new players.

Are Stormcast Eternals the Space Marines of Age of Sigmar?
That's the usual comparison: elite, armoured heroes who come back from death. But the lightning, gryphs and dracoths are all their own.
Can I start with just a Spearhead?
Yes. Spearhead is a smaller format built around one box, so it's a full game straight away.
Are Stormcast Eternals easy to paint?
Yes: big armour panels, gold or silver metals and a single trim colour. Ideal for a first Age of Sigmar army.
