The Lore
The Adepta Sororitas — the Sisters of Battle — are the militant arm of the Imperial creed: an all-female order of warriors whose faith in the God-Emperor is so absolute it works miracles on the battlefield. Where the Sisters march, saints walk, the dead rise to fight again, and heretics burn.
Born of the Ecclesiarchy's loophole-driven need for an army "without men under arms", they became something far greater — living proof that in the 41st millennium, faith is a weapon.
