Imperial Agents
Inquisitors, assassins and throne agents — the Imperium's scalpels, sworn to no single banner.
About Imperial Agents — Lore & How They Play
The Lore
Between the Imperium's great institutions move its agents: Inquisitors and their retinues, the flawless killers of the Officio Assassinorum, Arbites enforcers and Navy breacher teams. They answer to no single banner — only to the Throne, and to whatever truth they've been sent to bury.
An Imperial Agents force is less an army than a conspiracy with guns: every operative a specialist, every mission deniable.
On the Tabletop
A precision toolbox rather than a battle-line: kill teams, assassins and Inquisitorial warbands that each solve one specific problem exceptionally well. Most collections fight alongside other Imperial armies, slotting agents into Guard, Sisters or Astartes lists as force multipliers.
Run pure, they're a scalpel army for experienced players; run as allies, they're the finishing touch that gives any Imperial force an answer it was missing. Either way, an Eversor Assassin remains the funniest model you will ever charge with.
Imperial Agents are the Imperium's specialists: Inquisitors, Officio Assassinorum killers, Arbites enforcers, Navy breachers and the odd Deathwatch veteran. Field them as a full army or add a few to another Imperial force, and enjoy some of the most characterful single miniatures Games Workshop makes.

Do Inquisitors lead the Imperial Agents?
Often. Inquisitors such as Greyfax, Draxus and Kroyle are all in this range, ready to lead specialists from across the Imperium.
Do Imperial Agents work with other armies?
That's one of their strengths: many Imperial armies can include a few agents, so they're a great way to add variety to a collection.
What are the Officio Assassinorum?
The Imperium's secret assassin temples: Culexus, Eversor, Vindicare and Callidus. All four are in this range as single, beautifully detailed miniatures.
