Citadel Layer: Dark Reaper 12ml

Dark Reaper is the deep, muted blue-grey that does the quiet work every scheme needs — cold shadows, gloomy cloth and that bruised, twilight tone you can't quite mix on the fly. It sits perfectly between black and a brighter blue, which makes it a natural for Eldar Dark Reapers (the clue's in the name), stormy capes and grim, overcast armour.

Lay it over a black undercoat and it reads almost like a shadow; push it up with a lighter grey and you've got instant, controllable depth.
