Every painter has a jar of shame: brushes with splayed tips, hooked points and paint dried into the ferrule. Abteilung 502's Magic Potion (ABT117) is a cleaner and restorer made to bring them back — and because it contains no solvents or alcohol, it won't wreck the hair of natural or synthetic brushes while it works.
How to use
Soak the brush tip in the liquid for 24 hours for a deep clean and restore
Suspend the brush so the tip doesn't rest on the bottom of the pot and set into a bend
Repeat the soak on very damaged brushes if the first pass doesn't shift everything
A bottle of this costs a fraction of one decent sable — if it rescues a single favourite brush, it has paid for itself several times over.
