Hand over the choice instead. A Loaded Dice eGift Card arrives by email in seconds and spends on anything we stock — so they can grab this the moment it's back, or pick something else entirely.
13 Citadel Colour paints in 12ml pots — including Corax White, Abaddon Black, Retributor Armour, Kantor Blue, Khorne Red and Agrax Earthshade — plus a Citadel Colour Starter Brush, Starter Clippers and a Mouldline Scraper. Clip, clean, prime and paint, all covered in one purchase.
Is this the right set if I'm starting Stormcast Eternals or Skaven?
Yes — the thirteen colours are picked to cover both, so if you've bought an Age of Sigmar starter set this is the matching toolkit rather than a guess at what you'll need. Gold, blue and white for the Stormcast, red and earth tones for the Skaven, and a Shade to tie either together.
Are the clippers and scraper actually worth having?
Yes — they're the two tools that stop a first model looking like a first model. Clippers free the parts cleanly instead of tearing them, and the mould line scraper tidies the seam that runs across every plastic kit and shows up badly once paint goes on. They're the bits most beginners don't know to buy.
Not to make a start — these are heavily pigmented Base paints designed to cover bare plastic. A spray undercoat is still the single biggest upgrade to a beginner's results: it makes every coat after it easier and the finish far tougher. Buy one when you've painted your first model and want the second to look better.
Enough to paint a good number of models to a clean tabletop standard, but not a full army — 12ml pots go further than people expect, though a horde will empty the workhorse colours first. What this really gives you is a foundation broad enough to paint almost any faction, and you top up the two or three colours you actually get through.
Are these the same paints as the full Citadel range?
Yes — standard 12ml pots, not a watered-down starter formula. Whatever's in the box you can buy again individually and top up as you go, and it'll behave exactly the same on the model.
