What is Spearhead, and do I need the full rules as well?

Spearhead is Age of Sigmar's small-scale format — fixed forces, tighter rules, games that finish in well under an hour. It's a genuinely good way to learn, and the book in this box is all you need. The full rules only become necessary if you move to larger battles.

Do the models need glue?

No — all 37 are push-fit, so you're building without glue and without clippers. Supplied unpainted.

Is this too much for a complete beginner?

Not at all — the Spearhead rules are the gentlest way to play, and more models simply means more army when you're done. If you want to spend less to find out whether the hobby suits you, the Introductory Set is the cheaper test; if you already know you're in, start here.
