Orks: Mek

Somebody has to keep the Trukks running, and in an Ork army that somebody arrives carrying more tools than sense. The new plastic Mek is a support character who patches up the motor pool mid-battle and — through some clever know-wotz nobody fully understands, least of all him — makes nearby vehicles shoot considerably straighter than they have any right to.

How he plays

• Repairs nearby Ork vehicles, keeping Trukks and Wartrakks in the fight
• Grants +1 to the hit rolls of vehicles around him — the single best reason to take him
• A cheap tax for a considerably meaner motor pool

Park him behind a Trukk or a Dakkarig and watch the maths quietly change. For a model this small, he does a suspicious amount of heavy lifting.
