Do I need glue to build the models?
No — every model in this set is push-fit. Clip the parts from the frame, push them together and they hold without glue. A pair of clippers is the only tool you'll want, and it isn't included.
Not strictly. These are heavily pigmented Base paints, made to go on smoothly straight over bare plastic, so you can open the box and start. A spray undercoat does make everything after it easier and the finish tougher — it's the first extra we'd suggest once you know you're enjoying it.
Are these the same paints as the full Citadel range?
Yes — standard 12ml pots, not a watered-down starter formula. Whatever's in the box you can buy again individually and top up as you go, and it'll behave exactly the same on the model.
It's a perfectly serviceable starter brush and it'll get these models finished. It won't hold a fine point for long, mind — a decent brush is the cheapest meaningful upgrade you can make to your painting, but it's not something to worry about on day one.
