Four decades of US Army rotary-wing camouflage sit in one set of four AK Interactive 3rd Generation acrylics — from Vietnam-era Olive Drab through to the Woodland Desert Sage introduced for the CH-47F Chinook. Sprayed or brushed, they lay down the flat, light-scattering finish real airframes wear, so your Huey or Apache reads properly under the light instead of going toy-shiny.
Best for
US Army rotary-wing subjects across multiple eras — Cobra, Apache, Kiowa, Huey and Blackhawk
Modellers who want colour-matched FS tones without mixing from scratch
Brush or airbrush work — the 3rd Gen formula resists clogging when thinned
Lay them over a good primer and the scheme's sorted before you even reach for the weathering.
Colour-matched helicopter drab, no guesswork. Follow up with a set of weathering pigments for that dusty, hard-worked airframe look.
