Warhammer Colour Base paints and Army Painter Speedpaint 2.0 are both excellent starting points. Contrast and Speedpaint ranges give great results quickly, while Base and Layer paints give you more control as your skills develop.

The vast majority are water-based acrylics. We also stock oil paints from Abteilung 502 and enamel paints from Tamiya for advanced weathering applications.

Yes — all water-based acrylic hobby paints are compatible with each other and can be mixed freely. Oils and enamels should not be mixed with acrylics but can be applied over sealed acrylics.

Vallejo Model Air, Warhammer Colour Air, and AK Interactive Real Colors are all pre-thinned for airbrushing. Standard paints from any brand can also be airbrushed when thinned to the correct consistency.
