You may have spotted a new name on our socials and in the footer: Halidom. It's our new sister site for premium collectible statues — the big, hand-finished polystone pieces from studios like Prime 1 Studio, Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios. Same company, same people, same phone number in Barry. Different kind of shopping. Here's the full story, and what it means for you.
What Halidom is
Halidom is the statue house of Loaded Dice. It sells licensed, limited-edition collectible statues — Marvel, DC, Star Wars, anime, video games, horror and more — from the studios that serious collectors follow: Prime 1 Studio, Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios at launch, with PureArts, Hot Toys, PCS and others as the range grows. These are quarter-scale and larger pieces, often 60–80 cm tall, produced in numbered editions of a few hundred. Think of it as a very different shelf from the one your Warhammer lives on.
Everything on Halidom is sold at one UK landed price. Duty and import VAT are already paid by us, so the number on the page is the number you pay — no surprise invoice from the courier when a £600 statue lands. That's the single biggest thing UK collectors get burned by when buying direct from overseas, and it was the first problem we wanted to fix.
Why a separate website?
Because premium statues don't work like the rest of our range. Most of what Halidom sells hasn't been made yet: studios announce a piece, take reservations, then produce it over the following six to twenty-four months. Almost nothing sits on a shelf waiting. That needs a shop built around reservations, deposits and release dates rather than "in stock, ships today", so we built one properly instead of bolting it onto loadeddice.uk and confusing everybody.
It also keeps things clear for you. Loaded Dice stays the place for Warhammer, board games, cards, paints and the collectibles we hold in stock. Halidom is the place for the pieces you plan and save for.
Who's behind it
Us. Halidom is run by the same Loaded Dice team, from the same warehouse in Sully, under the same company — Loaded Dice Ltd, trading since 2020 and Retail Business of the Year 2025 at the Vale & Bridgend Business Awards. Graham and Leigh run it, the same crew pack it, and if you ring Halidom the phone is answered by the Barry shop.
How buying from Halidom works
Halidom calls it a reservation rather than a pre-order, and it happens in three stages:
- Stage 1Reserve — 10% todayYou pay a 10% deposit and the piece is yours. Nothing else is taken until it physically arrives.
- Stage 2Made — months, sometimes a yearThe studio produces the edition. Halidom shows the expected date on every product and checks it against the supplier daily.
- Stage 3Ship — the 90% balanceWhen the statue reaches the warehouse and passes inspection, you get an email for the balance. Pay within 14 days and it's dispatched.
Prefer to get it out of the way? Pay in full at the time of reservation and Halidom takes 5% off the price, with nothing further to pay on delivery.
The honest bit about deposits
The 10% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel a reservation, Halidom keeps the 10% and, if you'd paid in full, returns the rest. That's spelled out before you reserve, not buried in the terms, because we'd rather you knew the deal going in. (Where a statutory right to cancel applies, it isn't affected.)
One tip we give everyone: put the deposit on a credit card. Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, paying any part of a purchase over £100 by credit card makes the card issuer jointly liable with the retailer for the whole amount, deposit and balance alike. It costs you nothing and it's proper protection on an eighteen-month wait. Halidom explains this in full on the site rather than hoping you won't ask.
Delivery
- Delivery to mainland UK is included on every reservation — no delivery charge, however big the box.
- Statues go out with UPS on a tracked, signed-for service, double-boxed.
- Duty and VAT are already paid, so there's nothing to settle with the courier.
- Halidom doesn't currently ship to Northern Ireland or outside the UK.
Release dates that actually get updated
Studios slip. Everyone in this hobby knows it, and the frustration is never the delay, it's the silence. So every Halidom product carries an expected dispatch date, there's a public release tracker showing which stage each piece is at, and when a date moves the old one is shown struck through beside the new one and everyone holding a reservation gets an email. No quietly rewriting history.
What stays on Loaded Dice
Still here on Loaded Dice
- Weta Workshop — the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit pieces stay with us
- Everything in The Collectibles Den — Funko, action figures, smaller statues and in-stock collectibles
- Warhammer, board games, RPGs, trading cards, paints and hobby supplies
- Your Loaded Dice account, store credit, gift cards and Refer a Friend rewards
Over on Halidom
- Premium polystone and resin statues from Prime 1 Studio, Sideshow, Iron Studios, PureArts and more
- Reservation-only editions with a 10% deposit and the balance on arrival
- A small range available from UK stock for delivery within 28 days
- The Journal — Halidom's blog on the films, series and franchises behind the statues
The two sites are separate shops with separate checkouts, so your Loaded Dice login, store credit and gift cards won't work on Halidom (and vice versa). Same team behind the counter, though, and the same support email if anything goes sideways.

Is Halidom really the same company as Loaded Dice?
Yes. Halidom is a trading name of Loaded Dice Ltd (company number 12429789, VAT GB 342132248), registered in Wales and trading since 2020. Same directors, same warehouse in Sully, same phone answered from the Barry shop.
Can I collect a Halidom statue from the Barry shop?
Not at the moment. Halidom is online only and every piece is delivered by tracked, signed-for courier at no extra charge. If that changes we'll say so here first.
Why is the deposit non-refundable?
Because Halidom commits to the studio's allocation on your behalf the moment you reserve, and limited editions can't be un-ordered once they've closed. The deposit is 10%, it's stated clearly before you pay, and the remaining 90% isn't taken until the statue has arrived and been inspected.
How long will I wait?
It depends on the piece. Pre-production editions typically arrive six to twenty-four months after they open; items available from UK stock ship within 28 days. Every product page shows its expected date, and the release tracker shows where each piece is in production.
What happens if the release date slips?
Halidom updates the product page, shows the old date struck through beside the new one and emails everyone holding a reservation. A moved date doesn't change the terms of your reservation.
Will Halidom sell Warhammer, Funko or Weta?
No. Those stay on Loaded Dice. Halidom is deliberately narrow: premium licensed statues from a curated set of studios.
Can I use my Loaded Dice store credit or gift card on Halidom?
No. They're separate shops with separate checkouts, so Loaded Dice credit, gift cards and Refer a Friend rewards stay on loadeddice.uk. The launch code above is the Loaded Dice-customer perk on Halidom.
How do I hear when a new edition opens?
Join the Register on halidom.uk. It's one email when an edition opens and one when a piece you're holding reaches a new stage — nothing else, and you can leave any time.
Have a look
If you've ever stood in front of a quarter-scale statue at a convention and thought "one day", this is the one day bit. Browse the studios, read how reservations work, and if you've got questions before you commit, ring the shop or drop us an email — it's the same people either way.
