The bright Luftwaffe yellow that brings a fighter to life. RLM 04 was used for the quick-identification and tactical markings carried by German aircraft right through to the end of the war — the cowlings, rudders, wingtips and fuselage bands that turn a plain camo airframe into a proper Eastern Front or Defence-of-the-Reich machine.
Best for
Luftwaffe quick-identification and tactical markings
Cowlings, rudders, wingtips and fuselage bands
Eastern Front and Defence-of-the-Reich schemes
Lay it over a white base for full punch, then mask your bands crisply — those yellow markings are what make a Luftwaffe fighter pop on the shelf.
The yellow that finishes a Luftwaffe scheme. Pair it with the RLM camo tones in the AK Real Colors range.
