Citadel Technical paint — crackle effect
Textured, cracked-earth finish
24ml pot
Read moreRead less
Slap Agrellan Earth straight onto a base, leave it to dry, and watch it crack itself into a parched, sun-baked wasteland — no sculpting, no fuss. It's the lazy hobbyist's secret weapon for desert worlds, dried riverbeds and dead planets, giving you convincing cracked-earth texture while you crack on with painting the actual models.
Best for
Bases for desert, wasteland and drought-stricken worlds
Lay it on thick for big, dramatic cracks; thinner for fine fractures
Goes straight over most basecoats — no special prep needed
You control the whole effect with the thickness of the coat, from hairline splits to a full parched plain.
Instant cracked-earth bases in one coat. Pick out the raised edges with a quick drybrush, then browse the rest of our Citadel technical paints.
