Pre-orderWe order this in for you from our supplier. The expected month is our best estimate: release dates are set by the manufacturer and can move, so it is not guaranteed.
Before you pre-order
This is a pre-order. We order it from Bandai especially for you.
The expected delivery date is an estimate and can move. Most pre-orders arrive on time, and some even arrive early.
Because we order it in especially for you, please only pre-order if you're sure you want it. This doesn't affect your statutory rights, including your right to cancel.
If your basket has other things in it too, we'll hold the whole order and send it all together once this arrives. Want the rest sooner? Just place it as a separate order.

Version 3.0 is the definitive Master Grade take on the original mobile suit. This isn't the beginner-friendly snap build of the Entry Grade RX-78-2 — it's a proper step up, with a full inner frame under the armour, refined proportions and enough detail to reward the extra time on the sprues.
What's in the box
Full inner frame for realistic articulation under the outer armour
Snap-fit, colour-moulded parts — no glue or paint required to look complete
Beam rifle, shield and a set of interchangeable hands for different poses
Build experience
More parts and more steps than an Entry Grade kit — a proper sit-down project
Inner frame gives noticeably better range of motion for action poses
Clear instructions suit a confident newcomer as well as a veteran builder
Build it stock and it's a genuine centrepiece; add panel lining and a touch of paint and that inner-frame detail really starts to sing.
The definitive original, now at Master Grade. Want an easier build first? The Entry Grade RX-78-2 is the gentler starting point — otherwise grab some Vallejo Mecha Color paints and a panel-liner to finish this one properly.
Pre-orders can move, and occasionally a maker cancels one. If your basket mixes pre-orders with other items, we'll hold the whole order and send it all together once the last pre-order arrives. Need something sooner? Place it as a separate order, or ask us to send what's here early for £4.99. See our pre-order help
