Biovores serve as living artillery, carrying a clutch of explosive Spore Mines inside their bodies. Once they anchor themselves to the ground with their chitinous spurs, they release these volatile mines in powerful arcs as living ammunition. The gas-filled Spore Mines then explode in bursts of bone fragments and acid rain or slowly descend onto the battlefield, ready to detonate when enemies come close.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to assemble a Biovore, a sentient Tyranid mortar, along with three floating Spore Mines. The Biovore’s bulky frame supports a dorsal launcher, with a spore-sac filled with biological explosives ready to fire. The Spore Mines can be deployed by the Biovore or dropped from above. The kit includes multiple leg poses and basing options for the Biovore, plus three unique Spore Mine designs, giving you plenty of variety to create a diverse artillery brood.

The Biovore in this kit can alternatively be built as a Pyrovore, a fire-spewing Tyranid creature.

This kit comprises 37 plastic components, and comes with a Citadel 80mm Round Base and 3x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. This kit comes supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
