Vallejo Model Color - Cork Brown

Cork Brown is a light, warm tan — the mid-to-highlight tone for wood, cork, bases and worn earth, and a natural partner to the darker browns for building believable grain and texture. A handy light brown from Vallejo's Model Color range.

Best for

• Wood, cork and timber grain
• Highlighting darker browns and earth
• Drybrushing texture onto bases

Drybrush it over a chocolate or chestnut base and the grain jumps out — a two-tone trick that makes wood look genuinely wooden.

The light brown that makes wood look real. Pair it with a darker brown base and a brown wash.
