Gloss Black is a deep, shiny black — the base for anything that should catch the light: boots, leather, glossy vehicles, gemstones and piano-black detail. Its sheen also makes it the ideal foundation under metallics for a brighter, mirror-like finish. A specialist black from Vallejo's Model Color range.
Best for
Glossy leather, boots and vehicles
A shiny base under metallics
Piano-black and gemstone detail
Lay it under silver or gold for a noticeably brighter metallic, or use it neat wherever you want a wet, reflective black.
The black that brings a shine. Pair it with a metallic topcoat or a gloss varnish.
