Is the Age of Sigmar Introductory Set right for a complete beginner?
It's built for exactly that — someone who has never clipped a model off a frame or rolled a game die in their life. Two small starter forces, a 48-page handbook that teaches building, painting and playing step by step, and everything needed to fight the handbook's missions straight out of the box.
What's in the Age of Sigmar Introductory Set?
Two starter forces — Stormcast Eternals Liberators and Skaven Clanrats — with a 48-page Introductory Set Handbook, a gaming mat, a 12-inch range ruler, dice and tokens, a Citadel Colour Starter Brush and six paints chosen specifically for the models inside.
Are paints and a brush included?
Yes — six paints and a Citadel Colour Starter Brush, picked to suit the Liberators and Clanrats in the box. Painting and playing are both covered in a single purchase, which is unusual at this price.
Is this the current edition of Age of Sigmar?
Age of Sigmar is on its 4th edition, and this set teaches you to play it. Worth knowing that miniatures never go out of date either way — editions change how the game plays, not what sits on your shelf.
Can two of us learn together with one box?
That's the ideal way to use it — one force each, ready to fight, with the handbook walking you both through your first battles. By the end of an evening you'll have built, painted and fought in the Mortal Realms.
