Fine, true-to-scale flake size
For groundwork, trees, bases and dioramas

Not every base needs to look like autumn's just hit — these Maple Summer Leaves give you the healthy, full green canopy for scenes set in the height of summer, without reaching for static grass and calling it a tree. AK Interactive have kept the flakes fine and properly scaled, so whether you're scattering them as groundcover or building a canopy on an armature, the result reads as foliage rather than green flock.
Best for
Scattering as groundcover across bases and groundwork
Building a full leafy canopy on wire or foliage armatures
Adding natural texture to vignettes and dioramas
Layer them over static grass for a woodland floor, or pack an armature out properly for a tree that actually looks in leaf rather than a green blob on a stick.
Works alongside static grass, tufts and the Autumn Leaves for seasonal variety — see the wider basing materials range for the rest.
