Cool greys and browns for rock and stone basing
One-coat resin formula, no layering needed
Read moreRead less
Rock faces, scree slopes and weathered stone basing all want the same thing: convincing tonal variation without an afternoon of layering. AK Interactive's Quick Gen: Rocks set does that in three bottles, using the brand's one-coat resin paints to knock out base, shade and highlight in a single pass over primer.
What's in the set
Strong Grey, Space Grey and Brown Black, each an 18ml dropper bottle
Next-generation resin paint that pools into recesses and lifts raised detail automatically
Goes straight over a white or light-grey primer, no basecoat or wash needed first
Best for
Rocky outcrops, cliff faces and scree on dioramas and terrain boards
Matching bases across a whole army without mixing paint by eye
Painters who want a finished stone effect fast, not a ten-step process
Dab it on and the greys and browns do the tonal work for you — cracks darken, edges lift, and you're left with bases that actually look like rock rather than grey plastic with a wash over it.
Three bottles, one convincing stone palette. Grab a decent brush to go with it, or read our guide to the AK Interactive range if this is your first set from them.
