AK's synthetic fan brush spreads its bristles into a flat fan rather than a point, making it the brush to reach for when you need texture rather than a clean line — stippled foliage, weathered fabric, dry-brushed highlights or a soft, feathered transition between two colours. It's a specialist shape rather than an everyday brush, but for the effects it's built for there's no faster way to get a convincing result. The synthetic bristles hold their fan shape wash after wash.
