Earth Brown is the AK Interactive watercolour pencil for groundwork — a proper soil tone for running gear, wheels and bases that need to look like they've actually touched the ground. It's water-soluble, so you get a precise line first and a soft, blended stain once you introduce water.
How to use
Draw the effect on precisely across running gear and bases
Blend and soften it with a clean, damp brush
Works over primed or painted models, vehicles and terrain
Work it into wheel arches and lower hulls and the mud reads as ground-in dirt rather than a coat of paint.
A groundwork staple worth keeping to hand. Explore the full AK Interactive watercolour pencil range to build up a complete weathering set.
