Army Painter's Wolf Grey Colour Primer is a lovely greyish-blue that does more than just prime — it basecoats in the same pass. It's the go-to for Space Wolves, urban fatigues, furs and monsters, and a smart alternative whenever a flat blue would look too heavy. Follow it with a Strong Tone or Dark Tone wash and the recesses do their own shading.
Best for
Colour-matched to the Warpaints range for easy touch-ups
Space Wolves and other grey-blue armies
Urban fatigues, furs and monsters
A softer alternative to a full blue basecoat
Light passes keep the detail crisp and give you an even base ready to wash and highlight.
Priming and basecoating in a single step. Pair it with a Strong Tone wash and a cool-grey highlight to finish.
