For acrylic-painted miniatures and models
Read moreRead less
All that careful brushwork deserves protecting. Army Painter's Satin Varnish shields your miniatures and models from the knocks, chips and finger-grease of tabletop life, leaving a subtle satin sheen that sits somewhere between flat matt and full gloss. Ultra-protective on any acrylic surface, it's the easy way to make sure your paint jobs survive the campaign.
Best for
Sealing finished miniatures against handling and wear
A slight satin finish that lifts detail without heavy shine
Gaming pieces that see regular table time
A couple of light passes and your models are ready for the battlefield, not just the display cabinet.
The final step in a proper paint job. Follow a matt or gloss basecoat with this, and keep a brush-on varnish handy for touch-ups.
