Coarse, stony texture
Colour: stone grey

Astrogranite turns a bare base into broken rockcrete and shattered stone in a single coat. It's the go-to for grim industrial battlefields, ruined cities and rubble-strewn no-man's-land — a hard-wearing grey texture that looks the part the moment it dries. Brush it on, let it set, and your models suddenly have somewhere convincing to stand.
Best for
Water-based acrylic formula
Urban, industrial and rubble-strewn bases
Drybrush a paler grey over the top to make the stone pop
Pairs nicely with skulls and scatter bits
A quick drybrush of a lighter grey and the raised stone really comes alive.
Broken-stone bases in a single coat. Top it off with tufts and rubble from our basing range, or browse more technical paints.
