Skeleton Legion is the basecoat every undead horde starts life as — a warm, slightly greyed bone that reads as "old" rather than "clean white" the moment it hits the model. It's the Midtone in Duncan Rhodes' Two Thin Coats system, meaning it's formulated to sit between a darker Shadow in the recesses and a paler Highlight on the raised bone, giving you contrast without mixing a thing yourself.
