Some cards are more than cards — they're the pride of the collection, and they deserve a proper home. Ultimate Guard's Magnetic Card Case seals your best single behind clear, UV-filtering walls with a strong magnetic closure, so it stays pristine on the shelf or in the display cabinet. Recessed corners mean you can pop the card in and out without ever catching an edge.

Why it's good

  • Rigid walls shrug off knocks and pressure

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 35pt, 100pt or 180pt actually mean?

Point size is card thickness, measured in thousandths of an inch. A normal trading card is around 35pt, so a 35pt holder fits a bare card snugly. Thicker cards — relics, patch and jersey cards, or anything still in a sleeve — need a higher point rating.

Will a sleeved card fit?

Not in a 35pt holder, which is cut for a bare card. To keep the sleeve on, go up to at least 55pt, and higher again if the card is double-sleeved. Ordering the wrong point size is the single most common reason one of these comes back to us.

Is a magnetic case better than a toploader?

For a card you want to display, yes — rigid, clear on both sides, and the magnetic closure means no tape and no nerve-wracking moment getting the card back out. Toploaders are cheaper and perfectly good for storage or posting; magnetic cases are for cards you actually look at.

Do these protect against sunlight?

Many magnetic cases include UV protection, though the level varies by brand and it slows fading rather than preventing it. Whatever holder you use, don't display valuable cards in direct sunlight — nothing on the market makes that genuinely safe.
