For coarser, chunkier ground, this 2–5mm Vallejo texture recreates the loose rock and rubble of dry limestone terrain. Spread it over a base or diorama with a spatula or old brush, leave it to dry, then paint, wash and drybrush — add a bleached skull or a wrecked vehicle and the arid atmosphere does the rest.
Best for
Loose rock and rubble on arid ground
Larger bases, terrain boards and dioramas
Combining with washes and pigments for realism
The coarse grade for when you want the ground to look properly broken and rocky.
Chunky, realistic rubble. Pair it with Vallejo pigments and washes to finish the effect.
