Vallejo Diorama FX acrylic textured ground paste
Desert Sand — light ochre tone, 200ml pot
Ready to use
Read moreRead less
Beaches, desert landscapes and WWII landings all start with the right ground, and Desert Sand nails that light ochre tone straight from the pot. This ready-to-use acrylic texture paste spreads onto the base with a spatula or old brush and dries to a natural sandy surface you can paint, wash and pigment. Mix in extra gravel or sand for coarser, more varied ground.
Best for
Desert, beach and landing-zone terrain
Bases and dioramas needing a warm, sandy ground
Add your own gravel and pigments and you can build up genuinely convincing arid ground in a single sitting.
Sandy groundwork sorted straight out of the pot. Pairs with tufts, pigments and a matching desert-tone wash.
