Base — high-pigment metallic basecoat
Metallic
Colour: bright silver / steel
Read moreRead less
Grey Knights Steel is a bright, clean base metallic — a lighter silver that covers whole squads of steel armour in one even coat. As a high-pigment basecoat it lays down a flawless metal foundation over an undercoat, the perfect canvas for washes, weathering and a bit of shine on the edges.
Best for
Silver power-armour basecoats
Grey Knights and steel-armoured forces
A bright metal ground for washes and tints
Get the steel down evenly, hit it with a wash, and you've got convincing metal armour for a fraction of the effort.
A dependable base you'll reach for army after army. Build the rest of your scheme from the Warhammer Colour Base range, and lay it down cleanly with a good brush.
