Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures is WizKids' official unpainted miniature range for D&D and general fantasy tabletop gaming. They're cast in a soft, pre-primed PVC with deep sculpt lines designed to make painting easier than standard unpainted plastic, and cover player character classes, monsters and bosses.
No — Nolzur's miniatures are supplied unpainted, though they come pre-primed in grey so paint goes on smoothly straight out of the packet. If you want painted minis instead, check our painted miniature ranges separately; this collection is specifically the paint-your-own line.
WizKids' August 2026 wave is built from the 2024 Player's Handbook classes and species alongside the 2025 Monster Manual, adding almost two dozen new sculpts. If you're playing the newest core rules, this is the first wave of minis matched directly to them.
No — Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures come pre-primed in grey from the factory, so you can go straight to base coats. A quick wipe or wash beforehand isn't a bad idea if a mini feels waxy, but a full primer coat isn't necessary.
Nolzur's miniatures are sculpted to the standard 28-32mm heroic scale used across most tabletop RPGs, which is designed to look right on a 1-inch grid square rather than to a strict, consistent height ratio between figures.
Yes — the Nolzur's range in full, from starter sets to individual monsters and bosses. We're based in Barry, South Wales, with fast UK delivery, or come in and pick minis off the shelf in person.
