Roughly 80% of a competitive Space Marine list is made up of these universal datasheets. Buy them once and they'll serve every Chapter you ever paint — so you're never re-buying the same Intercessors when you start a new army. They're also the best-value entry point for newcomers: the Codex, a Troops choice, a transport and a Dreadnought give you a playable force that grows in any direction.

What's in the collection

You'll find the full Primaris core — Intercessors, Assault Intercessors, Infiltrators, Hellblasters, Aggressors, Inceptors and Outriders — alongside hard-hitting elites like Bladeguard Veterans and Terminator Squads, the full Dreadnought range (Redemptor, Ballistus, Brutalis), transports and tanks including the Land Raider and Gladiator, plus characters and the all-important Codex: Space Marines. Yes. Every kit in this collection uses the universal Space Marines datasheets in Codex: Space Marines, so they're legal in Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Iron Hands, Black Templars, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Space Wolves and any homebrew successor Chapter.

They do. Those Chapters have their own unique units on top of the core range — but they still field the standard Astartes units shown here. Core units form the backbone; Chapter units add the flavour.

Begin with the Codex: Space Marines plus a squad of Intercessors, a transport and a Dreadnought. That gives you a small playable force you can expand in any direction. Our team in Barry are always happy to help you pick.

The Codex contains the full rules, datasheets and detachments for Space Marines. It's strongly recommended for matched play, though free core rules are available from Games Workshop to get started.
