Matt finish — splinter-camo tan-grey base
Read moreRead less
Splittermuster Base is the foundation tone for painting German splinter-pattern (Splittermuster) camouflage — the pale tan-grey ground the angular splinter shapes are built on. AK's high-pigment 3rd Generation acrylic lays it down matt and smooth by brush or airbrush.
Best for
German splinter-pattern camo base
Pale tan-grey uniform and Zeltbahn groundwork
WWII German figure and tent-quarter work
Base the surface smooth, then add the green and brown splinter shapes and rain streaks over the top. Thin it for airbrush work; its matt finish takes washes cleanly.
