Another essential for the diorama supplies box: Dark & Dry Crackle Effects is the darker-toned self-cracking medium, splitting as it dries into a realistic crack network in a richer brown for damp-then-dried mud and darker parched ground.
Best for
Darker cracked, dried mud on bases and dioramas
Parched brown earth and dried riverbeds
One-step cracked texture with an earthy tone
Brush it on at your chosen thickness — thicker for bigger cracks — and leave undisturbed as it dries. Pigments and a light drybrush lift the cracked surface once cured.
A self-cracking texture medium. Browse more terrain and basing materials.
