Every table's got timber on it somewhere — spear hafts, gun stocks, packing crates, cart wheels — and Wood is the Quick Gen shade built to grain the lot in a single pass. It's a resin-based one-coat formula, so it does the work of a base coat, wash and highlight all at once, leaving you with a convincing woodgrain finish before you've even reached for a detail brush.
Best for
Spear hafts, shields, crates, planks and gun stocks
Speed-painting rank-and-file miniatures
Basing and terrain timber that needs to look aged, not flat brown
Brush it over a light primer and watch the resin pool into every groove, pulling back off the raised grain for shading that looks hand-done in seconds.
One coat, instantly grained. Pick up a lighter wood tone from the wider Quick Gen range for edge highlights, or grab a fine detail brush to finish the job.
