Every miniature painter needs a solid black basecoat in the arsenal — this is it. Pro Acryl PRIME Brush-On Black gives you full priming control straight from the bottle, no spray booth, no waiting for decent weather, just a brush and a steady hand. It's the classic choice for black basecoating and zenithal prep: paint over it and colours read darker and moodier from the first layer, ideal for grimdark armies, deep shadows and contrast-paint schemes.
Best for
Black basecoating and zenithal highlighting groundwork
Priming indoors without an airbrush, rattle can or ventilation
Touching up chips and missed spots left by a spray primer
A dark, moody base for contrast paints and washes to sink into
Let it cure fully and it grips paint like a proper spray primer would — just brushed on, at your own pace, at the desk.
Spray-free priming, whenever you fancy. Keep a Brush-On White alongside it for zenithal highlights, or build out a full scheme with the wider Pro Acryl range.
