Every Chaos Space Marines army needs a tyrant at its head, and the Chaos Lord is exactly that — a peerless killer who has led the Long War across countless lifetimes and demands nothing less than utter ruthlessness from those he commands. On the table he's a hard-hitting beatstick and a force multiplier, the kind of model your whole army builds around.
