Citadel Base — high-pigment acrylic basecoat
Smooth matt
Pot size: 12ml
Read moreRead less
A warm, golden yellow that lays down bold and opaque — the bright base behind Averland's state troops and any sunny, eye-catching yellow scheme. High pigment means it covers without the dozen coats yellow usually demands.
Best for
Bold, opaque yellow basecoats straight over primer
A strong foundation for brighter yellow layers and contrast
State troops, heraldry and sunny accents
Get a solid yellow down in a coat or two and skip the frustration — then layer up the brights where they catch the eye.
Formulated for smooth, high-pigment coverage. Browse the full Citadel Base range, and pair it with a quality brush to lay it down clean.
