Citadel Contrast — bases, shades and highlights in a single coat
Smooth, slightly satin
18ml pot
Read moreRead less
The cleanest shortcut to a rich, characterful red you'll find in a pot. Blood Angels Red glides over a light undercoat and instantly reads as deep, shaded crimson — bright on the raised edges, dark in the folds — without a single highlight pass. Tailor-made for red-armoured Space Marines, cloaks and heraldry, it turns a daunting block of red into a five-minute job.
Best for
Red armour, capes, tabards and bold heraldry
Gets the best results over a light undercoat such as Wraithbone or Grey Seer
One coat and your reds look painted, not primed — perfect when a whole company needs the same crimson.
Supplied as a single 18ml pot — one coat and your reds look painted, not primed. Browse the full Contrast range for highlights and shades to match, then keep things tidy with a quality detail brush.
